It is not only a vital reflex for the baby to get food but sucking also has a calming effect on the baby, reminding the baby of something safe and familiar in an otherwise foreign world. Sucking both lowers the heart rate, blood pressure, and stress levels and it even has a pain-relieving effect. Because of the calming effect sucking entails, a pacifier can make it easier for the baby to sleep, soothe the baby if it is distraught, and provide security when being upset.  When it comes to the nipple no size or shape is right or wrong because all babies are different. It can be necessary to try out different shapes and sizes to find the perfect fit for your child. Some babies prefer a certain nipple shape, size, or material while others do not have any preferences and will take whatever shape, size, and material you offer. Part of good pacifier hygiene is frequent cleaning of the pacifiers. The younger the child, the more important it is to protect it from bacteria and maintain good pacifier hygiene.

There are different methods of sterilizing pacifiers. Below we will go through all of them:
Before first use:

Remember to sterilize the pacifiers when you take them out of the packaging! This is done by putting the pacifiers in plenty of boiling water for 5 minutes. This applies to both latex and silicone pacifiers.

Natural rubber latex can smear off to the shield in rare cases, so it is important to sterilize in plenty of water and we recommend sterilizing latex pacifiers separately. This only applies before first use.

Order Tracking

We will endeavour to provide you with order tracking information where possible. Also, we will give an estimate of delivery times, although we cannot accept liability for any delays outside our control. We will aim to ship all Ireland deliveries next working day for items which are in stock and are ordered before 10 am. Orders placed over the weekend will be take two working days to be delivered.

Acceptance of order

The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order via our site does not constitute acceptance of an order.
